Since its founding in 1993, Wightman Ward, Inc. has been proud to provide
several services supporting the design and construction industries.
Our staff has over 30 years of combined experience which makes us
a valuable member of any project team. Our construction services
include:
Construction Layout Services
Wightman Ward, Inc.'s Survey Department can provide location and
grade stakes for site improvements such as building foundations,
walls and column lines, parking lot curbing, paving and sidewalks,
sanitary and storm sewer structures, water main facilities, roadways,
mass site grading and more. We are adept at working from site plans,
infrastructure plans and architectural plans prepared in-house as well
as plans prepared by other design professionals. All Construction
Layout Services are performed by NSPS (National Society of Professional
Surveyors) Certified Survey Technicians utilizing state-of-the-art
instrumentation.
Project Inspection
Wightman Ward, Inc. can provide qualified on-site Project Representatives
for any size project. Project Representatives observe and document the
construction of water mains, storm and sanitary sewer systems, asphalt
roads and parking areas, and concrete curbing and sidewalks. Daily
reports and Drawings of Record are often produced by Project
Representatives to be filed with local municipalities where they are
used to verify that proper installation procedures, placement, and
material quantities have been used during construction.
Materials Testing
Wightman Ward, Inc. can provide a wide range of construction materials testing
services, such as on-site density and moisture content analysis and in-house
aggregate, concrete and asphalt sampling and testing.
